AS15169 is Google in this site’s list, checked 13 Oct 2026. Google’s public DNS address 8.8.8.8 is announced here, and so are many other Google services. A result on AS15169 means the address belongs to Google’s network, not that the human using a website is sitting in whichever city the pin shows.
Datacenter and anycast addresses are a common reason an IP location looks wrong. Correcting 8.8.8.8 to your house would be incorrect.
