> Network, broadcast, and usable host range for an IPv4 prefix. The math stays in the browser.
Enter an IPv4 address and a prefix length from 0 to 32. The calculation does not leave the browser.
## Questions

### How many hosts are in a /24?

A /24 has 256 addresses. On a normal subnet the network and broadcast addresses are not hosts, so 254 are usable. /31 and /32 are treated here as point-to-point and host routes.
